[a short dress was not made for the cold and once she sits on a daybed inhabited by someone else, she sighs in relief at the warmth. there's a pitiful look on her face, trying to look worse off than she is. usually when people saw a girl looking sad, they wanted to help. that had been the story at the bar (from what she could recall) though usually it was alcohol that helped with the oversharing part. oh well, tea would have to work.

pouting at the other person, she says:] They should really warn a girl about the weather when she's dressed like this, don't you think?

[she's reaching over to pour tea, not even knowing what will come out. she has no idea what her favorite tea is.] And offer coffee. Tea always feels too fancy.

[Maria isn't going to turn down any of the knitted things. she's fine with the three mismatched scarves that don't go with her outfit she was given because seriously, does it look like she was dressed for the winter? though she'd really love a whole coat but they don't seem like they're knitting that for her.

she smiles when they give her hot cocoa until she sees the name 'Mary' and with a flash of anger in her eyes, she drops it into the snow and stomps her boot into the cup.] It's Maria! Stupid robot...[she is still stomping on that cup. someone really doesn't like being called Mary.]
