tea

Harold is a well-dressed older man in a suit who's taken over said daybed. He's reading a worn but well-kept library book (literally a library book -- it has the plastic cover and Dewey decimal sticker on the outside) and drinking his own tea out of a to-go mug with a matching thermos. There's also a dog beside him, a sleek attentive Belgian Malinois that sits upright on the cushion, not lounging. Bear watches the new arrival alertly but is too well-trained to make any noises or moves.

Despite this, he doesn't actually mind the company. He's caught on by now that being cooperative with his fellow detainees helps accrue him points, and Harold has plenty of things he wants to request with said points, so he's motivated.

He was going to warn Edward that he probably shouldn't drink the tea, but apparently Harold had no chance of that. He just looks up from his book, nonplussed. He's about to find out if the tea does do anything, as it turns out.

"Are you all right?" he asks politely.

It does seem rather like he'd thrown himself into the warmth of the daybed area and then guzzled a cup of tea.
