[ He hasn't reached for the tea at any point, himself. The idea of wrapping his hands around something warm has been nice in the back of his mind, but only that. He doesn't go for tea unless it's the only option, and so he hands rest empty on his lap as he listens to the little cat-like guy sympathetically. It's not too out of the blue, or so Gorgug thinks. It's understandable. ]

I'm sorry about that, [ he offers. ] A few people... some people show up here about to die, and I know-- I don't want anything to happen to my universe. I have family and friends I care about, too. Even if I don't agree with everything they do here, or the one in charge. It doesn't actually make a lot of sense.

[ He pauses, thinking for a second. Looks at Little Cato, his head tipping aside slightly. ]

You want me to tell you what I know? We don't know a lot. Not about the people in charge. [ A beat. ] Or person. It's one person who decides the missions, and then there's AI that watch over different cities or towns like one this.

[ It'd be good information to share, right? They seem like someone who'd appreciate it. And Gorgug...kinda felt confused about everything when he was told this stuff, but he knows it's good to know anyway. ]
