... To answer your first question though, it's hard to tell? I'm pretty sure they're from different universes, but they tend to describe their homes in terms of trees, potential predators, and nut distribution. Plus, none of them are like, bright green with antennae or anything. But you've gotta figure, there's a ton of alternate Earths concentrated here, it makes sense that they'd pick up some of the local wildlife.
