( she followed along to his train of thoughts as they came forth, hand swinging in return when he moved it. she wasn't sure how or when-

but she was starting to feel closer to him, as if they had known each other for years. he was so flustered and worried about being a good friend and yet in between all of that, it seemed they were similar. she wasn't as vocal about her concerns, but those same thoughts he had were some she had pondered upon many years ago.

what if....she had done more for the leader of the cult who was after her recently? would she have turned out different? for now she won't bring it up, but his words seemed to bring those thoughts out in her. )

Well...not everything has to do with the world the person comes from you know? Sometimes people are just like that, they just can't share what's happening to them even if they want to. You can't control that...

( she doesn't mean that he's controlling, but rather an assurance that somethings just were out of his control and he shouldn't feel bad.

heather will tease him about that last comment, stopping them in their tracks as she turned to face him. her hand was still on his but she gave it a tight squeeze before speaking up. )
