If he was trapped with anyone else, Jason would remain protective of his more personal secrets. But this was Bruce. He wasn’t his Bruce but he’s similar enough that Jason’s trust level is different with him. So he takes a moment to think about what he could say. Krampus or whoever is still around so he’ll need to be careful with his words just in case.

“Even after all the pain and rage I had later on, there’s something I don’t regret,” he says. “I don’t regret my time as a kid doing the job. Even now, I feel like it gave me magic.”

He hopes Bruce knows what he means by “the job.”
