In some ways, no. In other ways...yes.

My creators, the Drzyr, believed that everything had its place, and everything had a function. They divided their people into five categories, each serving a specific role within Drzyr society that could never be changed. From the moment of their birth, their purposes were made clear.

No Drzyr went without. They were provided for according to their roles, their needs. And yet, I have sometimes wondered if they wished to change what was made immutable...if they wanted for something more. I believe that is inequity, in a sense. [ The rebellion of his predecessor was supported by the lowest caste, after all.

After a moment, he shakes his head, continuing to work patiently at the lock. For such a small and primitive thing, it is giving him a surprising amount of difficulty.
] Though that was not for me to question. I am a machine, and my place is below my creators'.
