[Kirk is quiet as he takes in Jayce's response. The sentiment is one he relates to very well. The night he and Hernan met at Gotham's docks was literally life-changing for him. It was the lowest point of his life and he doesn't know where he would be if he and Hernan hadn't met. He's not even sure if he would still be alive if it weren't for that.

It's why he's stayed by Hernan's side for a decade so far and why he fully intends to stay with him for as long as they both want. He owes so much to Superman for treating him like a human who needed help. It was a time when he felt anything but human. At this point in their friendship, he would do almost anything for Hernan.
