True, there are no swamps (...yet...). As far as islands go, it's a pretty decent hangout, aside from the snakes all over the place... Thick as a log is pretty large for a snake, but it's not large or startling enough to get a flinch out of Popp when he notices it. He does yelp when he puts his hand right on a big green python while he's up in the trees, and has to fall onto the ground like an idiot do an abrupt controlled descent to avoid getting bitten by a large set of fangs. This doesn't count as exceedingly aggressive; Popp started it.
