Yes, they typically range from about 170 degrees to 550 degrees. Recipes will call for a certain temperature. There's also a broil function which turns on a high heat at the very top of the oven; you can move one of the racks to the top position and use that setting to char whatever is on your sheet pan. But often you don't broil things, just roast or bake them.
