snapp_crackle: (he's gonna do it)

"And the missions in the last place weren't?" Popp mutters under his breath. He can only own up to so many questionable decisions at the same time. Maybe Sephiroth gets to hear about the Pitaya Incident or the Chicken Incident if he needs cheering up later and Popp has found some spare dignity by then.

Deep breath.

"All right, so the other reason that it's good you missed the blizzard is that some sort of airship was in the area and it crashed? All of these creepy little brain monsters came out of it, and I got worked over so bad I forgot how to fly normally. So I flew on a rescue mission as a dragon, and, um, it's a lot harder to carry people that way? Nobody actually fell off, everyone was fine in the end, the important part is that it did work."

He's deliberately skating over the Intellect Devourers and what they got up to, because it seems like that will just give Sephiroth a whole category of things to worry about... As opposed to anything dumb that Popp did, which he is reluctant to elaborate on in exact detail for very different reasons.

"The people in Hast have other people they trade with, and they've got these little guys obsessed with collecting scrap metal... Weird guys, but not, like, Fae level weird. They're doing pretty good, yeah!"

Popp still considers Town his problem, if one on the backburner right now. He's changed worlds twice so far, for all he knows Charlie and Echo are having a custody battle. He has a lot on his mind right now but one of his priorities down the line is finding out how indoor plumbing works. It's just water and pipes, how hard can it be?
