First, we make sure that the ingredients are here, and in the right size before we roast the marshmallows.

We break them in half--the cracker most carefully. The half of the cracker that is the most intact will be the bottom layer, because it has to hold up the bottom piece of chocolate and the marshmallow when we eat. Like so.
