[So, there's something happen in the middle of camp.

Mostly Julian and Quentin arguing-- talking to each other, which, probably isn't really all that surprising on a normal day. However, there's that great added bonus of Julian carrying Nate's unconscious body in a princess hold, which probably gives the whole grumbling at each other a little more gravitas. Because he definitely is unconscious-- comatose, not twitching at all amongst the commotion.

Scott's standing a little off to the side from them and probably unsurprisingly from the teen, looking grumpy and moody. Also worried. But definitely those first two emotions because a rather big revelation happened thanks to a Mr. Hellion. So, he's just sort of dealing with that little tidbit of information, while also blaming himself slightly for Nate being comatose in the first place. It's also annoying that he can't do much else right now.

[So now she's giving him the option. She's opening the entire floor to him. He can ask whatever the hell he wants and... find out whatever else? Is that what this is about? Finding all potential secrets that the others are hiding from him? Or is it something else, like the fact that he feels like an outsider still. Probably a little bit of both.

For a while, he doesn't even know what to say, how to put forth all these tumultuous feelings into something that's even understandable.

Scott's the first one to break eye contact with her, eyes drawing to the ground. Can't he just continue being angry at her? At everyone? It was easy to get that feeling again when Julian talked about the other Scott, because it felt like he was being compared to someone that he hates. But now Sophie's here, reaching out to him. Like he matters to her.]

(They're far enough that this conversation isn't going to be picked up on, but just in case? She's concealing their voices from the people in camp, and if she thinks he needs it, she'll conceal them completely. She lets him feel the fact that they're bubbled, before she looks at this kid, who looks completely defeated.

And at the loaded question. She's just going to give him as much as she can, the best way she can.)

Okay, well. First of all, I don't hate him. He's Ms. Frost, my mum's, ex. The Three-in-One stuck with him out of a bit of spite, but we listen to him. I didn't get the chance, you know that, but we're One, so, it's a joint sentiment.

Quire doesn't hate him either. He's in his team currently, and every time he told me about his life in there, it's always been positive, so. Quire is insufferable to everyone, so if he is a bitch to you, that's just him.

Julian doesn't... Look, I don't wanna talk for him, but it's not hate. You are the original X-Men, which means you preceded our generation, and nothing is ever easy, right? He's gone through a lot; he's jaded.

... And he's a bit of an ass, so, put those two together, there you have it.

[A small part of him notices the way they're concealed, their conversation actually private from any nearby onlookers, and he appreciates it. That small part of him anyway, because the rest of the teen is still struggling with his emotions, the fact he feels like an outcast or some oddity that nobody knows how to deal with.

You know, Sophie's clone mom or whatever might as well have dated his other self. Why not. Scott's heard so much shit in the past hour or so he actually feels kind of numb about that. Or maybe a part of him just wants to laugh about it. Well, at least his asshole self didn't date Sophie?? It almost feels like a victory in a fucked up sense.

The teen just continues to half listen, half acknowledge the stuff she's saying-- Quire really isn't the problem, and Julian is an asshole and... what?]

(Because she recognized what she said once he told her, but in general? She really just sees Scott as this little thing that is lost, kind of a baby bird that got thrown out of the nest. He's not Cyclops to her, but perhaps that's easier for her to understand, considering she's not Emma. Not nearly the same thing, but it helps.

Still, all she has is to breathe in, try to refocus, and listen to his thoughts to guide her. She can't do much better than that.)
