WHO: Sparda Twins
WHEN: Sometime mid-March prior to mission
WHERE: Devil May Cry
WHAT: Plotting & scheming for babie's upcoming birthday
NOTES\WARNINGS: Hopefully none, but will update as needed.
[It's a rare instance in which it is quiet in the Devil May Cry office. Well, relatively quiet, anyhow. There isn't any telltale sounds of tinkering happening in the garage, and while the jukebox is playing, Dante doesn't have it blaring either. Vergil isn't certain if the courtesy is because beyond breakfast, Vergil hadn't yet really emerged from his room for the day or if it's meant to add to the illusion Dante is currently taking a mid-morning nap. Whatever the case may be for why there's a bit of volume control this morning, Vergil doesn't offer up a complaint about the volume as he descends the stairs a few minutes after Nero left the office. He does frown a little at Dante as he approaches the desk, albeit not for the reasons one might assume. He's not irritated to find his brother lounging about, but rather a little more perplexed by it than anything else.]
Does that actually work?
[Vergil means whether or not people actually buy that he is asleep positioned like this.]
[It wouldn't surprise him if Dante really was trying to nap. There is nothing in particular to do right now, at least nothing urgent, and he's reclined enough with his feet up on the desk, his arms folded across his chest, and one of his many magazines currently draped across his face. Were his mind set to it, Dante probably could nod off even if only for a few minutes. But it looks far too staged for anyone else to actually find comfortable enough to nap. Especially when there are couches available, or even his own bed upstairs. Vergil would like to at least give his little brother some benefit of the doubt that he would choose those options for a nap over sitting at his desk like this.]
[Regardless though, he knows Dante isn't asleep right now due to the absence of some light snoring or, at the very least, slow, even breathing. He is, in fact, just sitting there with the question of whether he is sincerely trying to sleep or not being up for debate.]
