( bruce hasn't been back in his tower in some time.
he supposes it's not exactly odd, per se, for the man to go off on his own. but damian knows he generally finds his way back to the tower before long: the man prefers his own company more days than not, and it is his tower. his home here, that he has been staying for far longer than damian has been here.
it's enough to get his attention, especially after what had happened the last time damian had seen him.
so he goes to find him.
tracking is part of damian's skill set, but tracking down bruce wayne is another thing entirely. luckily, this version of his father is younger, newer to being batman. and damian has had plenty of time to observe and learn from him. it isn't easy, but he does track down signs of bruce to an empty building in nova city, allowing himself in through the window but leaving it open so he can sit on the frame of it.
waits there for bruce to come follow the noise he had intentionally made on his way in, because damian doubts he'll leave that alone. )
