( he's still checking everything over as he asks that. leaves the passenger side to go around the car. make sure everything is as it should be or relatively close to it. grabbing the water bottles and pizza box, he hands them over to damian to take, then heads back over to grab his cowl and other things before he's coming over to the driver's side. time to move over, kiddo. )

( he knows what bruce is doing, and damian can appreciate it--to an extent. he dislikes being babied, but he appreciates the attempt to try and.. father him. it can't be easy for bruce, suddenly being faced with a child who may or may not be his in the future, but who shares his blood. that fights ruthlessly, that follows after him while he parades around in his batsuit. damian understands how difficult it must feel, even if he.. dislikes what follows.
