OPERATION: YOUTHFUL DISOBEDIENCE
WHO: Members of the grand curfew-breaking plan!
WHEN: During the Moorecroft event.
WHERE: Various Moorecroft locales.
WHAT: A bunch of youths have gotten together to break curfew in tandem to get to the bottom of the mystery at heart of this place -- but what they find leads to more questions than answers.
NOTES\WARNINGS: Probable violence, death, emotional trauma, cursing. All the fun stuff! I'll be putting the log headers for pre/during/post-curfew breaking logs in the comments, so just hang tight while I do that, though all members are of course more than welcome to post their own logs if that suits their tagging style better.

Having a would-be guardian angel doesn't hurt, either. She jumps as Accelerator comes crashing down and hurls something at one of the tendrils to get it away from her general vicinity. ]
Whoa-! Warn me next time-!

This creature? He has no clue, and Asuka is a fragile human with no giant mecha to back her up. It's pretty clear to him what he needs to do.]
Change of plans. [He takes a second to tap a nearby mailbox and send it at a tendril coming their way, then gives her a sharp look.] You need to go home.

[ She snarls at him, even if she's terrified out of her mind and kinda wants to dip out entirely herself. ]
Hell no!
[ Her pride is gonna kill her. ]

A baseball bat's gonna do fuck all against that thing. You'll get killed if you stick around.

[ That's ridiculous. She should know better.
And yet here she is, putting her own self-worth on the line despite how afraid she is and despite how much she knows this could go horribly. ]
Not gonna be so smart then, huh?

[He's taking the backup computer out of the belt bag he's got slung over one shoulder, turning it on, and quickly putting it away. That drops his time limit drastically, but it's fine. He can work with it.]
You won't. If that thing can bypass my reflection who the hell know what else it can do. The robots are already bad enough, this thing on top of them makes it too dangerous for most of you to be out here.

[ Asuka exclaims. Then she snaps her mouth shut. ]
Fine. Fine.
[ She doesn't want to go (and she does), but she doesn't want to die. It's a mess, isn't it? ]
no subject
At least she's backing down. That's one tiny relief in this mess.
He gives his a stern nod, then spins around and moves to the side as one of the robots fires some gun-arm attachment. The bullets ricochet off of him, thankfully.]
Good. I'll cover you.
no subject
Don't you stay too long either!
no subject
Yeah, yeah.
[And then lunges at the nearest bot to toss it into an approaching group.
He'll do fine for a while, but the combination of switching over to a shorter time limit, new bots arriving with power nullification equipment, and the monster being able to bypass his reflection means his attention is going to be split a dozen different ways at any given time. After fifteen minutes, it's enough to cause him to slightly misjudge how much time he has left, and -- well.]
