( with the announcement comes a need to prepare; one that, unfortunately for most of their group, requires planning together. thus, those from gotham and close associates either receive a ping on their devices, coded with instructions of when to meet up, or - a note left where they'd find it, equally coded, because no one's leaving obvious meeting notes behind.

the manor's massive living space is where everyone settles, rather than the cave. not all of them arrived in uniform, and considering goliath has made himself comfortable and is taking a nap - well. it's best not to disturb him. )

[Cass had heard that Tim was here but hadn't actually met him yet so she slides into a chair across from him and crosses her legs crisscross under her folding into a nice small little ball. ]

[ Setting the carafe on an end table, Tim gives Cass a lazy grin that won’t fool her, and might not fool half the room because it doesn’t get anywhere near his eyes.

(He’s relieved to see her. It’s miles away from happy to see her, but he feels guilty about the relief.) ]

You're right though. I guess it's too much to assume they pulled a bunch of people like us from around. I haven't met many people yet.

Some people are being very upfront about their lives in capes. Some people -

Named Damian are living their entire life in tights. And I've been trying to maintain the dual ID dichotomy, but I'm sure Aurora and the robots know. I turned up as Robin, and then there's a Tim Drake running around. After a few days, I had to make a decision. I can't sleep in the mask.

As far as breathing and comfort is concerned? Yeah, mind would be better, but the glue would ruin my face after a couple of days. I'd have marks, and then it wouldn't matter if I took it off because the redness would match a domino mask. I'm surprised if Damian's avoiding it.

No, I haven't met anyone that I'm completely sure of. The younger Hawkeye, probably the older one but he's not fond of Robin. I need to take her up on her offer to check out her clubhouse. She's collecting a bunch of chatty teenagers.
