( with the announcement comes a need to prepare; one that, unfortunately for most of their group, requires planning together. thus, those from gotham and close associates either receive a ping on their devices, coded with instructions of when to meet up, or - a note left where they'd find it, equally coded, because no one's leaving obvious meeting notes behind.

the manor's massive living space is where everyone settles, rather than the cave. not all of them arrived in uniform, and considering goliath has made himself comfortable and is taking a nap - well. it's best not to disturb him. )

Not going in gear seems a little foolish.

( therefore, he's glad[?] to hear tim won't be going that route. )

[ Oh good, someone took care of the introductions. That simplifies things. If he knows Tim, then he can be assumed to know any number of things from one of the others. Damian, most likely, so that should be interesting. ]

Not going in gear also has benefits, because I've been trying to keep a separation of church and state. People will wonder where Tim was in the maze, and where the other Robin went. I'm going to tell them I kept dying, for the record, so I might need people to claim they saw my body.

(Even if Damian makes him sound like an idiot in the maze, that actually helps with keeping up appearances.)

What follows is the same jokey, pleased tone that Tim would take if a YJ teammate just did something extraordinarily clever and made it look easy. ]

We can't rely on the devices or any trackers. There needs to be another way to signal to each other from inside, especially if separation happens. Morse Code or something similar.

Not a bad idea. We all know Morse Code, or at least most of us do.

And I speak six languages, plus some basic ASL. There's some overlap with what the others know, if that's what we want to go with.

Though that doesn't exactly give us much time to figure it out.
