[ he's right simply because the other is attempting to learn too much in a short amount of time, the way he carries himself, thirsting after knowledge he's not ready for when he hasn't even learned the basics. it's not a bad thing, but he needs to take it slow, and if he overwhelms himself with information what then?

as he focuses on the third one to insert, he turns his head to listen again, ear near the nail and his gaze catches what the other is doing. seeing the other do the opposite of what was told isn't an unfamiliar sight, he has a tendency to do what he wants at the end because he wants to learn on his own.

[ is he proud of that shadow, should he scold him? no, it's like a child who gains the chance to utilize new experiences. never does he interrupt what the younger hedgehog does, all it does is tell shadow that there are some things they can do on their own, and they attempt to improve.
