[Peter hadn't really been invited to Bishop Publishing. Or at least, he didn't really feel like he was supposed to be invited — he happened to overhear that it was an offer to 'teens and twenty-somethings'. And honestly, that sounds nice? To be somewhere that has people around his age. He has to start over eventually. Ned and MJ and anyone else he'd considered his friends don't know who he is anymore; instead of rolling over and crying about it, he needs to just grab his bootstraps and start dragging to a new beginning.
Because that's what Etraya is, in a way, even if it sucks.
He isn't exactly out as Spider-man, though, so he's not sure if he'll just be some sore thumb in the group. How cool is it, though, that there are young heroes hanging out around here? It's nice to not be a youngin' surrounded by heroes in their 40's.
