An Etrayan Trip to Disneyland

[Please enjoy this mingle log for anyone who wants to toss their characters into an alternate version of the happiest place on Earth! Adjust characters/locations to avoid fourth-walling as needed. Avengers Campus is probably some cute kid-friendly interpretation of the League of Heroes, that Spiderman animatronic is Grasshopperman, etc. etc. Ride some rides, eat a churro, buy some overpriced merch! YOLO!
A map of the parks can be found here, with PDF versions here: PDF version can be found Disneyland, California Adventure. You can also use this space to visit Universal Studies Hollywood if you can't get enough theme park goodness.]

Silas Grace (Sleeper as a human 4-year-old, adorable blond moppet)
You know what's better than a tiny human who is normally a cat-shaped shapeshifter having been in a car for hours to go visit the mouse? Waking them up at 7am to go meet Mickey and Friends. Silas is an adorable five-year old, who, luckily, convinced their parents that they wanted to be the prettiest princess for this special day. And meet the other princesses, of course. So catch them in a sparkly dress and tiara in line for food at the buffet with a tray that may be too heavy for them, or standing with their dads (Dion and Joshua) patiently or not-so-patiently for pictures, or just enjoying things. They will not be changing out of their dress for the day, so there is also a chance to see them around the park with their finery.
B. All the rides (Pick one)
Silas had to go on everything! EVERYTHING. Did they ride the teacups until they puked? Well, no, but only because the lines were too long for it to stack up like that. They definitely got to drive the cars at Autopia, although an adult had to come with. As for any other rides, well, there was a bit of a tantrum at several rides that they were deemed too short to go on. Hyperspace Mountain was relatively easily diffused since they could go on Space Mountain, but Big Thunder Railroad and the Matterhorn both got big storms of temper.
C. Shopping and food
One has to also enjoy the shops along the way, not to mention other biological needs. Food is everywhere, and when you are a human child, you do have limits on how long you can go without refueling. Especially when chocolate and Silas are in close proximity.
D. The (not-so)Great Escape?
Who is that adorable kid looking lost and wandering around the park? Where are their parents? Did something happen to get them separated? Who knows, but Silas has somehow managed to break away and is wandering on their own. Do you help them get reunited, attempt to abscond with them, or something else entirely?
E. Long Days at the Park are Long
Silas isn't used to days like this. And with their chemokinesis somehow blocked in human form, they don't have any control over their brain chemistry to stop certain things like tiredness from overwhelming them. Which means at some point, a nap should be had. But no kid who knows they should be an adult for their species is going to just relent and take a nap, so have one cranky kid. Convince them that they won't miss anything with a little bit of a break?
F. Wildcard option
[Got an idea, something not covered in the prompts or just another park or entertainment location, feel free to drop something here or contact me in the discord, DM, or plurk (

DionDelan has never been to such a large, noisesome place that exists purely for recreation, but he adjusts well enough. Never in his life did he fancy that he should be blessed with a family, and though it is only for pretend, he makes the most of the opportunity just the same. Here he is, a temporary family man.Accordingly, he's all too happy to indulge his child, who is the very portrait of a perfect little princess on this day. He considers Silas' desires for this trip to be something of a mission directive for the day, being that he is the parent and this park is for children. No one tell him about the Mickey Adults.
During one respite from the merciless lines between one ride and another, and the two of them find themselves in a shop riddled with colorful wares, he deems it time to confer with the council. ]
Do you see anything you would like?
[ This is, perhaps, a dangerous question. ]
fixing for appable possibilities
"Moo!" they squeal, pointing to the largest one, big enough to serve as a bed all by itself. "Patch me up, please? Biiiig Moo!"
There's no accounting for taste, though. Then they look next to it, seeing the others from the Thousand Hectare Forest. "Moo and Boo?"
Can't have the patchwork pony without their bestest friend, an adorable red panda who loves climbing and eating most of all. At least, they hope Dee understands that.
no subject
"They are best friends after all, aren't they?" He reasons, unconcerned with the reality that this will mean more massive plush for him to carry around. It only makes sense that they go together as a set, being as the characters are such good friends.
Knowing that from Silas' perspective these furry creatures are also like friends to them, he speaks of the plushes accordingly.
no subject
It's just how things are. And of course they're real. Well, not really real because there's a lot of copies here, but on the show they're real.
Silas tries to carry the pony, but realizes very quickly that they won't be able to without dragging it across the floor. And that could mean dirt and ouchies for everyone. So they stop, looking from the large plush to their dad and back.
"Do you have a best friend, Dee?"
no subject
It takes him a collection of seconds to gather his words, stiffly resuming his task of retrieving Boo. "I do," he answers, voice smaller than he expected. He clears his throat. "I've known him since we were children. Once, when I was badly hurt, he remained with me until I recovered."
It's difficult still yet to refer to Terence by name. The grief still feels fresh, as does the guilt. He reaches out for Moo with an open hand. "May I assist you with Moo?"
no subject
The seriousness of the response has the part of them that isn't a young human taking notice, but it's hard to think around their current form. So better to focus on the good things.
"Yess. Help Moo. No ouchies." Of any kind, but Silas doesn't say that. Heart-ouchies are the worst.
no subject
Gently, Delan lifts Moo from Silas' hands, leaving him with an overlarge plush for each arm. "Of course, I also consider your father a cherished friend." He couldn't say he had known the man as long, for all the time apart that their circumstances imposed on them, but his existence was nonetheless singular in its importance. "From the first time we met, I felt he was important."
Not just for being a future archduke, or for being another Dominant from infancy, though these things let them understand one another in ways others could not. He was important simply for being the kind, warm person he has always been.
no subject
"Does Dee want a friend like Moo or Boo? Who is your favorite?"
Because that is a very important question. Like some people are just wrong and stupid, even if Silas isn't supposed to say things like that. But Dee has to like someone good.
no subject
After casting a surveying glance around, he points as best he can while keeping careful hold of the plushes. He makes slow, careful progress toward the shelf he had indicated, to ensure Silas has no trouble keeping up with him. "Mina here, with her flowers."
He happens to like flowers himself, and he thought the little cat rather cute when he saw her, with her big blue eyes and fur patterned to look like she wore a dark mask on her face. Most importantly, her size made her quite easy for Silas to carry, if they wished to do so.
no subject
"Who do you think Father likes?" Because they can't just leave him out.
no subject
He offers this idea, that they might collaborate on finding the right plush.
no subject
"Dis one!" they crow, pointing at the red jungle fowl that had been the humor of that Polynesian film. "Father likes him, he funny."
no subject
He wouldn't want to dampen Silas' enthusiasm by any means, but a little brainstorming wouldn't hurt while they're here. "Hm... What if we find a few possible friends for your father, then decide who would be best? So this one will be the first candidate."
no subject
"We could send a message for Father to pick? Then he knows he gots a good friend." There, maybe that would work for making Dee not want to be so silly.
no subject
Delan considers how to address that as he scans the shelves again. "Do you remember that ferret, the one who solved mysteries?"
no subject
"Sage. He's a sleuth!" Silas reponds, lighting up a little. It was a good show. "Not everything has to be a surprise."
They aren't sure they like surprises, unless they're the good kind, like chocolate.
no subject
"It is true that not everything has to be, but I think it could be nice with a gift...or two." One potential solution is simply to get Mark two stuffed animals, he reasons.
no subject
It's a conundrum. But what isn't is which Ferret to get. They quickly snatch up the one with the traditional hat and magnifying glass. Sure, there are a couple other versions of Sage, but this is the best one.
"What do you think?" Because both Dee and Father are wise. They know how to deal with problems. Even the kind that make you have to get really big and fight bad things.
no subject
The sentiment is wholeheartedly sincere, simply because that is the sort of man he is. It is gift enough that he can indulge in the fantasy of a family life, if only for a little while, and that he can make that family happy with something as simple as stuffed toys. Such things had never been meant for the Dominant of Bahamut.
As for the matter of which plush, Delan needn't debate before responding. "I believe you have chosen the best one. He is ready to do his detective work."
no subject
"'Kay." They don't get it, not really. Not right now. But they enjoy having Dee and Father around, and wonder if they could have more time like this.
"We should go find Father and then do more rides." After getting all their new friends, of course. They hug Sage, Mina, and the silly chicken carefully, keeping them tight so nobody gets dropped. Dee has Moo and Boo, but he's bigger and can handle a lot more. He just only has two hands.
no subject
"We need only stop at the counter there first," he advises as he points toward checkout. They need to formally "adopt" their new plush friends before they venture forth in search of Mark. "Then we will see where he is."
no subject
It wasn't a long line, but the park was full and they had no intention of leaving until they rode everything they could. "This is better than anything."
no subject
Once they step up to the register, he likewise considers it well worth the price of the plushes too. The woman behind the register rings up their collection with practiced efficiency and Delan doesn't miss a beat in paying for them, so they can begin their search for Mark. "Now we have adopted them properly," he says, turning to regard Silas once again. "So we can continue on."
