Do you run into one of them:

1. At the apartments near the Hospital? Find them on the top floor.

2. In the food stores (Kwik Trip, 7-11, Bangtang Market, the bot-run restaurants) scattered throughout Etraya? Snacks are at a premium for some of these guys.

3. On a rooftop somewhere in Etraya. Yes, even Lois.

4. Exploring the Daily Planet. It's the wrong one, but it's also what's here.

5. Down in the Catacombs. Why has part of Paris been recreated here, anyway?

6. Wildcard yourself anywhere in Etraya!

Well. It's still ok to be up here? What were you doing anyways?

[kryptonix]

I was just taking a look. Not used to seeing it for real. I only ever saw pictures of it.

[ there's a model in the superman museum but. kell-el had other things on his mind then. plus going to a museum dedicated to the original version of you. weird as can be. ]

[solarson]

( he nods and takes a few steps towards the ledge, leaping his way up onto it and looking down. glancing back over, he smiles a little curiously. )

You wanna look inside?

[kryptonix]

[ he blinks, caught off guard. ]

Really?

[solarson]

Yeah. I haven't been inside either and if there's trouble, we've got each other. Right?

( not that he thinks there WILL be trouble, but. you know. )

[kryptonix]

Yeah, sure. We might get attack by the news.

[ but he is curious to take a look, so he'll head in. ]

[solarson]

( well ok then! they’re off! dropping off the ledge of the roof, he floats his way down, cape flapping up around him as he does. )

I’m Superboy by the way.

[kryptonix]

[ he never understood capes. also kell gives him a look. ]

Speaking of which . . . aren't you a little young to be doing this?

[solarson]

Doing what?

( he’s not going to be weird about this, is he? )

[kryptonix]

Doing this. The superhero thing.

You're like five.

[solarson]

I’m ten, thanks.

( gosh! )

And so what if I am? I can handle things.

( at that, he taps down to the front of the building, waiting for his buddy here to do the same. )

[kryptonix]

Uh-huh.

[ deeply skeptical. ]

And what are those things exactly?

[solarson]

Danger. Bad guys. You know. That sort of stuff.

( with a wave for him to follow, jon starts to make his way inside. )

What’s your name anyways?

[kryptonix]

My stuff is a little more intense than just beating up bad guys.

[ and he's liking this less and less. ]

Superman's my name. But people call me Kell-El these days.

[solarson]

That's not all I do.

( gosh. but! in they go, jon being mindful of their surroundings as they do. )

You don't have an Earth name?

[kryptonix]

[ kell-el gives him a quizzical look. ]

Why would I have an Earth name?

[solarson]

Oh, well. Me and my dad do.

( he looks over to kell-el there as he wanders through the... very strange looking daily planet. yeah, this is... not how he knows it. especially from the outside. )

I was born there. My dad grew up there.

[kryptonix]

[ kell huffs. ]

I wasn't born, I was created. Having a name wasn't necessary when you have a job to do.

I only got one because it got confusing between your dad and me.

[solarson]

( at that, his exploration stops and he turns to look back to the other super. )

What do you mean you were created?

[kryptonix]

I'm a clone. Obviously.

[solarson]

What? How is that obvious?

( please do tell! )

[kryptonix]

The eyes didn't tip you off?

[ he's pretty unique in that regard. and others. ]

I was cloned from Superman's DNA in the 41st century.

[solarson]

I thought you just had cool eyes.

( gosh. but he doesn’t think he likes this conversation now. it just feels… heavy. sort of. )

But how can you be a clone when you seem so different?

[kryptonix]

I do have cool eyes.

[ the question has him glancing at jon, perplexed. ]

Clones aren't always exact copies. I was tweaked so that I could fulfill my mission.

[solarson]

I'm guessing that mission isn't the one we have to do here on Etraya, huh?

( no, obviously not because it's not as though he'd been cloned to come here to etraya and prove his world worth saving... right?? )
