Do you run into one of them:

1. At the apartments near the Hospital? Find them on the top floor.

2. In the food stores (Kwik Trip, 7-11, Bangtang Market, the bot-run restaurants) scattered throughout Etraya? Snacks are at a premium for some of these guys.

3. On a rooftop somewhere in Etraya. Yes, even Lois.

4. Exploring the Daily Planet. It's the wrong one, but it's also what's here.

5. Down in the Catacombs. Why has part of Paris been recreated here, anyway?

6. Wildcard yourself anywhere in Etraya!

Jason nods.

"Yeah. Very weird," he admits. There's a lot he could say about how uncomfortable he is with seeing a younger version of himself around and how he keeps being reminded of his past mistakes. But Jon doesn't need to hear all that. The kid has plenty of his own troubles to think about. "Feels almost like look at a mirror even though you know it's not that."

[solarson]

"Have you met each other?" A beat, he cants his head some, curious. "I mean... do you get along?"

He wonders how he'd be coming across another version of himself here who... wasn't him. Or older? That would be something. Kind of cool? Maybe? Provided he was still helping others that is.

[leastdramatic]

"Ehhh, it's been touch and go there but it's doable," Jason replies. Though he suppose he could also describe it as punch and go but that's a mess he doesn't feel like getting into. "We just try not to get in each other's way."

Unless one suspects the other of maybe collaborating with a known rogue but again, another story he doesn't want to get into for now.

"Who else have you ran into so far?"

[solarson]

"My parents and D... although none of them know me and are all younger than they should be." So. You know. That's been fun and all. "D mentioned there's two versions of his dad here and Nightwing is around, too."

Honestly, he's probably going to see if he can find Nightwing or at least reach out to him. Hopefully he knows him, too. Nightwing's a pretty great guy.

[leastdramatic]

Jason nods, still sympathetic to Jon.

"Yeah. Two different versions of B. One's early in his career. He didn't have a Robin yet. The other B should recognize you," he explains. "And Nightwing definitely will."

Nightwing is probably the best pillar of support to have for the BatFamily and so many others from their similar worlds.

[solarson]

Well if Nightwing definitely will...

"It sounds like everyone's from different points in time... or a different time altogether." Different worlds, dimensions, all that stuff. "I wonder what the reason is for that. Especially when there's more than one of someone here."

[leastdramatic]

Jason snorts, though not to mock Jon.

"That's stuff we all would love to know. We've all seen Aurora plenty of times but not a peep from Echo themself," he says. "This whole alternative universe thing is weird. Technically I'm from a different world from the others but there are still a lot of similarities."

[solarson]

"Oh, really?"

He just figured, you know, since he knows him and all, they were from the same place, but... clearly not always the case here. "Gosh, I didn't mean to bother you then. I mean... if I'm not the Superboy you know."

[leastdramatic]

Jason waves his hand, as if he was waving off Jon's worries.

"Ah don't worry. Not your fault we're all stuck here," he says casually. "You're close enough and it's better we all check in with each other. We're supposed to be in this together."

It's been nearly a year since Jason arrived in Etraya but he still doesn't buy into how only one world is allowed to survive.

[solarson]

Right, about that…

“I don’t like the thought that we could be pitted against each other here. We should be working together to find a solution for everyone’s world, not just our own.” At least that’s how he feels about being here with so many others.

At that, he looks over to Red Hood there, confident in both his stance and his tone.

“If I can manage to speak to Echo, I’m going to tell them that.”

[leastdramatic]

"Don't go at it alone and without a plan," Jason says. "None of us have any idea what Echo is like or what they can do yet."

Jason is aware that if Jon is anything like his father, he isn't going to stop until he finds a way to save everyone. So there isn't much use saying he shouldn't do it alone. There's a beat before Jason adds one more thing.

"And Robin doesn't count if you're gonna confront Echo with another person."

[solarson]

Wow, what the heck? Ordinarily he might agree with that, but. Even if this isn't the Damian he personally knows back home, he's still very much Robin and he still feels the need to have his back.

"You know, just because he's smaller than he usually is, doesn't mean you should underestimate him."

[leastdramatic]

"I'm not," Jason says calmly. Jon and Damian are best friends back home and Jason doesn't doubt that this younger Damian will bond with Jon just as well soon, if he hasn't already.

"I got no doubts that between the two of you, you can both take down several grown men without breaking a sweat. It's just that with how little we know about the whole place and Echo, this could be bigger than most of us."

[solarson]

"Well maybe this place needs the Super Sons. Ever think about that?"

Yes, Jon can be a little bratty just... nowhere really near the level Damian is capable of being. But still! They can handle whatever this place throws at that and speak with Echo if that ever becomes a thing. He's already put in a request to with Aurora after all.

[leastdramatic]

"Heh. Okay, that might be possible," Jason says, though he still had his doubts. Then again, weirder things have happened. "Just keep an open mind though."

[solarson]

"Well, yeah. What do you think I'm D or something?"

Gosh. Wouldn't that be wild.

[leastdramatic]

At that, Jason barks out a laugh.

"God, I hope not," he says, amused. "Otherwise, we'd be all in trouble."

[solarson]

He might just chuckle a little at that. He knows how his friend can be.

"Anyways, you heading back to the manor or something?"

[leastdramatic]

"Nah. I was just practicing," Jason replies casually. "Not a lot of purse snatchers to stop here so it'd be too easy to let some skills get rusty."
