WHEN: late last month and first half of this month!

1; outside the bubble
[ There aren't many reasons to lurk around the border between Etraya and outside. There isn't a lot to see, except for the very odd tree, a large rock here and there, and also a green guy from time to time wearing a tin can on his head.2; sneaky bot training
--wait now.
It's not really a tin can, but it might as well be. Close to a welders' mask, a particular half-orc takes Aurora-approved trips outside the barrier that keeps everyone safe, to do maintenance on those very innocuous rocks spaced out around different parts outside. Sometimes he has them flipped over, cross-legged and inspecting whatever the interior is inside; or maybe, he's even setting up a new one, and the 'boulder' can be seen standing on otherwise hidden legs, scuttling like a lobster, while Gorgug watches. If it has a head, it can't be seen.
And Gorgug, he doesn't know if he's being seen from the inside. But then, it's pretty weird to be outside, and maybe he will catch if he's being watched.
You know, unless someone wants to call out the weird, 6'7" lanky figure just hanging out around outside. ]
[ Other times, Gorgug is dealing with his projects inside Etraya. One such project is training his sneaky chameleon by going to different parts of Etraya with the 1 foot bot.3; music/dance studio
Most of the time, it's invisible, and it doesn't thrum with motor noise like an electronic creation. But perhaps your character has a sense for magic or unseen beings, or just feels like something is off in that cereal aisle or the Kwik Trip, or they heard something scuttling under their table inside the many cafes.
Or it could even be that you were moving through Nova City, filled as it is with cats, but there seems to be some other presence... a little scurrying thing, usually invisible, but sometimes coming out of invisibility to let it recharge that setting. But coming out at the wrong time, and a glint of something small but animal-shaped catches your attention. Thinking it's being sneaky behind a wall or trash can, but is it? ]
[ Not too far from the hospital is a large boat--a building in the shape of a boat, to be exact, and titled 'the MAXIMUM' on the map on the earpiece. It's probably a weird enough sight whether you know what it is or not, worth checking out, or maybe even making use of its facilities inside: dance rooms on the first floor, an unmanned bar, and music rooms on the second.4; wildcard
And up on the second floor, in the open practice room, is sometimes Gorgug. Some days, he's practising on the drums; others, he's going through the music library available from consoles in the wall, which can be found in a few of the different rooms to play music.
He likes his rock, he likes his emo, and he lets the music play for the most part, a notepad on his knee as he lets it play. Head bopping, his expression inquisitive, thoughtful. Truly, listening to music is serious.
The problem is, the music is set to shuffle at random, and when Gorgug doesn't close the door to the room properly, sometimes the choices sure are choices.
(In Gorgug's defence, he is too confused to change the tracks immediately. What is this.) ]
[ Want to investigate the set of buildings surrounded by a large, golden fence? There might be the sound of quacking coming from the inside, or the sight through the left open gate of Gorgug chasing after a robotic duck in a vest and propeller hat (a sad sight, as he keeps going "Noooo, stop running, come onnn", and doesn't actually speed up to catch it; or he can be found at the junkyard, making a trip out with his blue van to check for any new and useful junk.
Feel free to message me privately if you would like to make plans! ]

To its credit, the bot does not seem to garner the attention of anyone else in the busy cafe. As Loki continues to read his book, or at least appear like he’s reading, he keeps an eye out until the bot starts to move again. He doesn’t know what it is, but for the moment it does not seem to be doing anything harmful or nefarious, so he’s happy to simply watch and see what it’s up to as it finally starts to move again. It’s actually quite impressive with how it makes its way closer to his table. Loki isn’t sure if the thing has cottoned on to Loki noticing it or if it is drawn to him for some other reason, but at least for the moment, he is content to simply watch.
The closer it gets, the more Loki wants to perform his own tests as it becomes more and more obvious that it is heading in his direction. Casually, he flips the page in his book, takes a sip of tea, and casually crosses his long legs, sweeping his left over his right and bringing it rather close to the approaching bot and waits to see how it responds.]

Which might about sum up the discretion (or "training") of the bot near Loki's feet, or the work that needs to be done to its invisibility. It knows how to move slow, patience not lacking from its movement. But if there is a kind of grace to how well it can stop itself in its own tracks, when it gets so slow that the foot comes sweeping in its direction--
Well. There is no grace in the way it scrambles to flatten itself down small. And it does shrink in size, just enough to miss Loki's foot by the bot equivalent of a hair. Its four limbs have flattened out, long tail slapped to the ground; which, with its size, sounds nothing like a tik on the floor.
It would be so easy to step on in this moment. And the next moment. It actually isn't moving immediately, except its eyes roll to examine the long limbs up above, attempting to calculate.
But also taking a second to send a ping to Gorgug, magical in nature, but discreet. And Gorgug, discreet of a boy he is, casually checks his goggle's feed...
....to see the looming legs from above. The bot worries it's in danger, and Gorgug whispers, attempting to be oh so silent: ]
Get out...!! Get up... get out!
[ Loki, please have mercy as below, the bot attempts to grasp with its tiny claws at the ground to slide... but does not have the grip to actually carry itself down low. U-uh, it's gotta think about this for a second...!! ]

As he moves his leg, Loki manages to keep an eye on the thing approaching him without making it obvious that he’s not still reading. If he has to do much more, he’ll replicate himself and then transform himself into something that will go unnoticed and investigate further. For now though, he’s impressed with how it manages to dodge him. He can’t see it clearly, and he still assumes no one else around can see it, but Loki is good at spotting such things. And now that it has his attention, he’s curious.
It seems to freeze. Loki has no urge to destroy it, he can’t learn anything if he just destroys it, so instead, he uncrosses his legs and instead gently rests his foot on top of it, holding it in place. Pretending to drop his napkin, he leans down and aims to pick the bot up.]
Well now, what do we have here?

It doesn't help that, well, the bot's camouflage can't work on Loki. Though what goes through the bot can be called a form of concern, its objectives is to act even in concerning situations: Loki bending down to pick something up isn't meant to make it act, it should be invisible!
Alas. Getting picked up was not meant to happened, and yet it did. It only has one response to that, being inadequately equipped for actual confrontations, and that's to attempt to whip out its long tongue and flick the end of it at Loki's hand, a tiny zap meant to (hopefully) get him to drop it. Like getting suddenly pricked at most in terms of radius and damage.
But this situation, dangerous as it's turned (not very dangerous) has Gorgug alarmed from his part of the café, witnessing everything through his goggles; mouthing a quiet "Noooooo", his head in his hands. Does he say anything? Does he leave it to its fate? Apologise right now to Loki?
...he kind of wants to. Even if he worked so hard on it. Ugh, he should've made the bot pick a better target than a magic user! ]

[Loki says this more out of surprise than pain when the small… creature? Stings him. It doesn’t cause him to drop it though and instead makes him more curious. Without loosening his grip too much, he doesn’t want it to get away, Loki glances surreptitiously around the room, trying to see if anyone there has anything to do with this.
Most of the people around look like they are simply casually enjoying a drink or some food. Some are chatting with other patrons, some are reading as Loki was, but one looks suspiciously upset. Loki raises an eyebrow at Gorgug and attempts not to smirk. He really likes Gorgug, but he has a thing or two to learn about hiding his feelings. Loki thinks he even sees him mouth the word ‘No’ in tandem with Loki picking up the bot.
Taking pity on the young man, Loki rises from his seat and makes his way over to Gorgug.]
I think I may have found something that belongs to you?

Said trash bot doesn't try to do anything to Loki again; maybe if it had more fighting spirit, it would, but it seems sealed to its poor fate as Loki gets up and walks with it, and all it can do it attempt to curl itself into as much of a ball as possible.
Gorgug, for his part, lowers his head and tries to look as inconspicuous as possible.... and probably looking like the weirdest guy in the café by doing so. Which Loki correctly clocks, and even when Loki comes to his table, holding his suffering bot in hand, Gorgug doesn't even look at him immediately. He doesn't want to look at him even when he speaks up... ]
You can throw it. I don't know it.
[ There's a colour of embarrassment in his voice that's quicker to speak than usual. Does he actually mean it? Or is he trying to not own up to anything?
D-don't test him, Loki. He'll break so easily. ]

Gorgug’s response causes Loki to raise an eyebrow. He holds up the small creature to get a better look at it, turning it this way and that. It might not be a living, breathing being, but somehow Loki doesn’t think it would appreciate being tossed aside nor does he believe that Gorgug really wants that. Instead, Loki gently places it down on the table before sitting down across from Gorgug.]
What if I do not want to throw it?
