[OPEN] Clothes Shopping/Cafe Millennia Mingle
WHO: Everyone!
WHEN: Early-Mid July
WHERE: Roxx & Cafe Millennia!
WHAT: Shopping and Cafe'ing!
NOTES\WARNINGS: No warnings for now, will update as needed!
With the new haul of arrivals comes the obvious need for new clothes! After all, whatever they showed up in might not facilitate daily living, or at the very least comfort. Fortunately for everyone, new or otherwise, there is Roxx! The range of fashion available is...interesting, considering how it seems to reflect the worlds each person is from, leaving no one wanting in terms of variety. Apparently updating when new people from different worlds arrive. Pretty convenient, that. As fortunate as it is, it might also be overwhelming, depending on who you ask. But perhaps that's where others might be of help! For the fashionably challenged, there might be an angel of fashion waiting to help you out.
With it being summer, there's also swimwear to be considered, especially with the chance of pool parties in the imminent future. Some styles may seem familiar, while others outlandish by your world's standards. Just like any of the clothes really, seeing as one can find clothing that is uncomfortably close to their personal style. In fact, they might very well find their exact outfit here from the looks of it. How odd!
After all their shopping shenanigans, people might find themselves migrating over to the new cafe that Sandalphon opened called Cafe Millennia. A perfect place to continue enjoying each other's company after a fruitful bit of clothes shopping! Or maybe that's where you've started at, coffee first, shopping after. There really is no wrong way to do it!
(ooc: Hey there, just wanted to toss up a little log for people who maybe wanted to do some clothes shopping or cafe threads with the possibility of running into random people! Just some low effort shenanigans and fun! Please feel free to use this log as you see fit, make your own top levels, tag around, whatever!)

Blood?? Is he a Pro Hero? He doesn't act like one... A Pro would clean their stuff...
His smile becomes more strained. "...Ah! It means 'dress shirt' in English, but it's written in katakana instead of English letters. But this is a T-shirt, not a dress shirt. It's... funny?"
It's clear he hasn't really thought about having to explain it, and for that matter he doesn't even know what Cid's native language is. Izuku waves the smoke vaguely away. If Cid keeps him talking, maybe Izuku will never even get around to telling him not to smoke inside.

If Izuku asks him if he's a hero, well... It's a little complicated of an answer. He sees Izuku wave the smoke away, but he's sort of used to that too, even from his daughter.
Cid sizes Izuku up, but casually.
"Say, you're no ordinary kid, are you? What's your name, lad?" he sticks his smoke between his teeth to shuffle hangers.

Still, Cid pointing out he's not ordinary isn't something Izuku is used to. Izuku is used to being overlooked and passed over. He's plain, dresses plainly, and goes to an effort not to be too loud or take up space.
It wasn't until his class was on TV that people started recognizing him on the train to school as that guy who busted up his body in the tournament. He wears a stretchy band under his T-shirt to cover his biggest scar, but it's clear that his right hand is heavily scarred. He's also shredded, absolutely ripped to hell. He does not skip leg day.
"I'm Midoriya. It's nice to meet you."
He bobs his head in a quick bow. It's normal to go by one's family name, and he's in his civvies, so no Hero name. Neither of these are hard and fast rules, but Izuku is a polite young man and a creature of habit.
"Uh... what did you mean by... not ordinary...?" he asks apprehensively. For most aspiring heroes, it's a compliment. For him, on the heels of being pulled out of a very important mission back home, it could mean danger.

βWellβ¦ Look at you. How old are you? Youβve seen a lot of battle for a lad of squiring age,β Cid replies, sizing him up. He didnβt have the shrinking disposition of someone in the habit of losing those fights, either. That sort of bulk and strength could only really be made in a well-sustaining society. To even have the food to spareβ¦
He was a scrawny boy, underfed until he was eighteen or so.
βAm I wrong?β

Izuku misses his mom terribly.
Squire? Like... knights?? "It is unusual..." he admits. "A lot of stuff happened, and we also accelerated our coursework in response. I wasn't supposed to get my provisional license until next year. Are you, uh... What work do you do?"
