i've been working on myself but it got confusing
Which is a little funny to think about, considering her waist-long hair is back to her usual shoulder-length bob, the rainbow money piece remaining. However, her new experiment of trying not to be particularly extra goes strong. Rather than heels and diamonds, she's just got a black t-shirt, jeans, a pair of sneakers, and her glasses on — almost exposure therapy, in a way.
Sophie can be found at GameStop, piling all the games and special edition consoles she might want on top of the counter where she stands so she can have a better look at the top shelves, some items held up in the air by an electric pink glow as she checks whether she actually wants to add them to the shopping spree.
Alternatively, she can be found dragging a cart around, filled to the brim with all sorts of outfits, from revealing gala dresses to plain tops, distracted by looking at the map so she can go to the next store of interest when she accidentally runs into someone. Surely she'd know there's someone there simply out of brainwaves, but — look, she's horribly distracted by her quest to visit all the places strategically with the least amount of roaming around.
Lastly, she can be found outside at the parking lot, doing her best Tetris strategy move to fit all her new belongings into the Maybach's trunk and spare seats, just boxes upon boxes of items stacked and removed for minimal shaking or breaking on the way until she can get to the trolley from Farway.
Godspeed.)
i know what i know, if you know what i mean
What about? Literally a subject she was talking about earlier that day, which she dropped in favor of work. Whether you were a participant in that conversation or not turns out to be irrelevant as she continues her talk.)
So! What I've been thinking — well, about a ton of stuff, actually, but on the lighter side of things, I'm thinking what should the next party be. The last one I did over popular demand was Halloween, which, you know, was okay. Maybe June or July, when the weather's nice, if we are not all completely crumbled by then, we could do a bonfire or something. A lot of people keep coming, and the ones that are here get used to their shit, I think they should have a more... You know, a nice welcome on our side and a more... I don't know, maybe opportunities to be around people that aren't just Echo giving us a toy now and then.
i wish that i could block me out
She sighs, so strongly that it could be comically dramatic if it weren't a genuine grunt of frustration, running her hands across her face as she inhales.)

Are you balancing an account up here? Doesn't sound like anything fun.
[Math is hard.]

(It's said with all the love in the world as she opens an arm, a little smile forming despite her shit, irritable mood so Maelle can come cuddle.
Sophie knows she likes it, and it doesn't give her the hives anymore.)

What's all this?

Mostly trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. The computer, the locations, the necklace, what to do with all this shit. Most importantly, what are you doing here?

[She still can't explain most of the things that have happened to her in the past few years. Maelle's come to a certain sort of peace about not knowing the why in the world, especially when it comes to Etraya, but she's along for the ride. Helpful, when she actually can be.]
And what do you mean, what am I doing here? This is from my world. I'm entitled my just because visits.
no subject
(She is, she just has a built-in setting that helps way too much when needed, and one that isn't going to help right now.)
Sure you are. Still, though. No particular reason? Pretty cool place for a picnic or something.

[She lives with some, even! She gives Sophie an amused look.]
Back home, I would be here whenever I had nothing else to do. It was just... a place to be. Now, it just so turns out I might run into you rather than Gustave.
[A bonus, in her books.]

(Decision-making hasn't really been proven to be the best skill of the geniuses she does know. Maybe some shade.)
It's kinda quiet up here, and you two really were super happy to show me, so it's just... You know, kinda cute.

Now that the session is over, she can bring in the pizza box, the endless snacks of all shapes and sizes, the knockoff McDonald's buffet that she ran to get really quickly, and turn up the girlie pop to her heart's content.
Soda, juice, wine, beer, and bubbly are also on the kitchen table.)
Okay, careful with the glassware, they're super expensive and super fragile, so just — handle it with a lot of care, because someone forgot to get normal person shit.
(It's she. She forgot.)
So for the next ones, should we keep it at here or have the session it at NYX?
